A new report gave away an important bit of information regarding Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) dilemma in season 6 of The Good Wife.

First Look Stills From Episode 2, Season 2 Of The Good Wife Revealed

TVLine revealed that Alicia wouldn't need to choose between running for State's Attorney and being a partner at Florrick/Agos as she can keep both jobs at once. Co-creator Robert King told the publication that she can keep both jobs as Illinois election rules allow for that. King stated that as season 6 pivots to politics, Alicia's work as a lawyer won't be "left in the rear-view mirror."

The next episode, titled Trust Issues, of season 6 will focus on introducing new cast member Taye Diggs, who will be joining Florrick/Agos as a partner.

Christian Post reported that title of the episode and the fact that Digg's will be introduced in the episode.

It was revealed that the Private Practice would be joining the cast of The Good Wife for season 6, on July 7.

Diggs will be quite at home as he has already been part of a legal drama (Private Practice). An E!Online report revealed other related details. He will play Dean Levine-Wilkins, who has been described as a "meticulous" and "talented" equity partner at Lockhart/Gardner. Wilkins will move with Diane to Florrick/Agos.

The creators of the show, Robert and Michelle King also talked about their excitement at getting Diggs on board.

"We couldn't be more excited to have Taye on the show," the Kings said in a statement. "We've been huge fans for years, and love his ability to play comedy and drama with equal ease."

The highlight of the finale for season 5 was Eli proposing Alicia become a candidate for State's Attorney. The cliffhanger obviously had to do with the big decision Alicia will have to take now.

Season 6 of The Good Wife premiered on CBS on September 21.

Trust Issues will air on September 28.
