It looks as though Jessa Duggar might have gotten herself into her first controversy on social media. The 19 Kids & Counting star is being slammed by her fans on her Instagram account for posting an Atheism rant on Wednesday.

In her post, Duggar wrote, "Atheism - the belief that there was nothing and nothing happened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason what so ever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs. Makes perfect sense."

She then added, "Psalms 14:1 - The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God."

Many of her followers were outraged by Duggar's post by saying, "I enjoy watching your show and think your family has genuine intentions. However, this is incredibly offensive. I don't believe that bullying other religions models Christ's behavior whatsoever."

Another follower wrote, "As an atheist this is just hilarious because you think what we think is 'magical nonsense' when we look at you and see the exact same thing. I enjoy your show and I think you have a nice family and all but don't shut others down like this. Live and let live my dear, hopefully you will understand that one day."

Back in July, Duggar's fiancé also slammed Catholics for their "deadly errors" in a Facebook rant that he's since deleted.

In the status update he posted last week, the young Christian missionary quoted a scripture and ranted about his "problem" with the Catholic faith.

"I have nothing against individuals who are Catholic. I know a lot of Catholics who are great people," Ben Seewald wrote, according to a screenshot obtained by Radar Online. "What I DO have a problem with is the teaching that man can merit God's favor through his own works or the works of other fallen men."

He then quoted Ephesians 2:8-9, before adding, "I DO have a problem with the teaching that man can come to God through Mary or any other person besides Jesus.... I DO have a problem with the deification of Mary as a sinless being. Mary herself admitted her need for a Savior. If she had no sin, she would need no Savior."

Many of his Facebook followers were quick to criticize Seewald for his post, writing, "I hope you will retract your statement about Catholics" and "I think your intentions were good and I have no problem with you publicly disagreeing with Catholicism, but I do have a problem with you claiming that Catholics believe something that they do not."
