Daisy will be facing some struggles with her studies, but works hard so she won't have to be an assistant cook for the rest of her life. And it looks like things might pick up for her when Mrs. Patmore suggests something that could change her life for good.

In an interview with Pop Shack TV, Lily James (Lady Rose) talked about how her own character will change throughout the series; it turns out that she's not quite as scandalous as she once was.

"I mean, obviously, she's naughty by nature so there's parts of her that will always exist, but her focus gets taken by something really unexpected and her eyes are sort of open to the bigger picture and she grows up," James said. "She's growing up."
