In a recent interview, the creators of The Good Wife, Robert and Michelle King spoke about the season 6 premiere and Cary's (Matt Czuchry) stint in jail.

Alicia Won't Need To Quit Florrick-Agos To Run For State's Attorney

Speaking to E!Online, Robert King revealed that Cary would be in jail for longer and the story was to be continued.

"You will see him in jail longer, it is kind of a "to be continued" at the end of the episode. The good thing for us is you're always looking for explosions that can happen in the world that doesn't just impact one or two characters, but all of them," he said. "Michelle [King] pointed it out, while it does impact Alicia, it also impacts Diane joining the firm with Taye Diggs. How are they going to be absorbed into something that is already fraught? The other thing is if Alicia chooses to run, it really does impact her campaign. It's that kind of pivot point that we had last season with Alicia leaving the firm in episode five and Will's death in episode 15."

The upcoming episode, titled Trust Issues, will focus on new cast member Diggs's character.

Governor Florrick's Flirtatious Intern To Return In Season 6

Christian Post reported that title of the episode and the fact that Digg's will be introduced in the episode.

It was revealed that the Private Practice would be joining the cast of The Good Wife for season 6, on July 7.

Diggs will be quite at home as he has already been part of a legal drama (Private Practice). An E!Online report revealed other related details. He will play Dean Levine-Wilkins, who has been described as a "meticulous" and "talented" equity partner at Lockhart/Gardner. Wilkins will move with Diane to Florrick/Agos.

Season 6 of The Good Wife premiered on CBS on September 21.

Trust Issues will air on September 28.
