Things have finally started to get better for E.J. (James Scott) on Days of Our Lives, but his happiness over winning Sami (Allison Sweeney) back could be short-lived.

Sami & E.J. Recite Wedding Vows Again

For the longest time he was the only DiMera in town, but has suffered through the recent returns of both his sister, Kirsten (Eileen Davidson), and his brother, Chad (Billy Flynn)-both of whom he is at odds with. And though he has been mostly trying to ignore their returns to town, focusing instead on reuniting with Sami, he won't be able to ignore things when another unexpected visitor arrives-his mother, Susan.

It is unclear why his mother, who is certifiably crazy, has returned to town now, but it doesn't necessarily spell good news for E.J. All he wants is for he and Sami to finally have their happily-ever-after ending, but the continuing arrival of relatives in Salem could prevent that from truly being the case.

Ben Gets An Unpleasant Surprise

Meanwhile, some shady business deals have also been going down in Salem as of late, ever since Sami and Kate (Lauren Koslow) took over DiMera Enterprises. Since their takeover, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) has been trying to plot from afar, using his children, to get his company back. But while he and Chad continue to conspire mainly against Kate, she could be formulating a plan of her own-by using Clyde (James Read).

Clyde has also struck a deal with E.J. and is super-secretive about what it is he's doing exactly, though he is now trying to get Kate on board as well. He could make the next step necessary now to get his way by arranging a mysterious meeting-and could change everyone's plans in Salem for good.
