Carrie Underwood announced earlier this week that she had some big news coming out soon and on Friday the country superstar revealed details about her upcoming album.

Carrie Underwood Teases Big Announcement On Twitter

The singer appeared on NBC's Today Show on Friday morning to share the title of her latest work Carrie Underwood Greatest Hits: Decade #1. She also revealed that the album's first single Something in the Water will be available on Monday, Sept. 29.

"It's really kind of a joyous, uplifting song about changing your life for the better and kind of having that 'a-ha' moment," Underwood told Today, "to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward."

Shortly after her interview with NBC Underwood went online and posted the news on Twitter, which is also where she went to announce her pregnancy at the beginning of September.

It's certainly a big month for the country singer. On Sept. 1 she and husband Mike Fisher announced that they are pregnant with their first child and Underwood revealed to Today exactly where she'll be looking for guidance.

 "I have a wonderful mother," she explained. "So if I can be even a little bit like that, I think we'll be good."

Carrie Underwood Greatest Hits: Decade #1 is scheduled to hit stores Dec. 9, 2014.
