Amid the buzz of ABC's Castle returning for Season 7, the show's star Nathan Fillion revealed what type of wedding he wants for his character Rick Castle.

Castle Season 7: Some Wonder If Rick Had 'Misgivings' For Marrying Kate

Castle fans were gipped of a wedding during the Season 6 finale after Castle got into a fiery car wreck on the way to his wedding to Kate Beckett (Stana Katic). Fillion recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about his dream wedding for Castle.

Fillion is picturing "an exotic location on a beach with the wind blowing where I could wear linen pants rolled up where you could see the ankles and an untucked linen shirt. Everybody's being kind of simple and pretty. We'll do the whole thing in one big crane shot and then everybody goes for drinks."

Additionally, in case fans were wondering the car wreck is not enough to totally dissuade Castle from getting married in a full-blown wedding.

Castle "wears his joy on his sleeve, and he is okay putting himself out there," Fillion noted, adding, "He's been married twice already. It's not like he's gun shy. I think Castle is a man who loves life and he loves people and think that is something that will never fundamentally change about him."

The premiere episode will feature Beckett desperately searching for Castle, who was in her wedding dress when she got the call about her fiancé.

Castle Season 7 is slated to begin Monday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
