On September 26, Willimon first posted a bit featuring the show's official composer, Jeff Beal, and revealed a picture of the maestro working backstage.

"Our uber-talented composer Jeff Beal @JBealMusic on the @HouseofCards set today working from his mobile studio," he tweeted.

This was followed by a shot of Willimon playing a trumpet and hinting at the fact that he might feature on the score, and give his own bit of input.

"Decided to help @JBealMusic out with a lil bit of brass. (It's safe to say my track will be at 0 dB) @HouseofCards," Willimon tweeted about his musical talents.

Willimon has been very careful about not given anything away about the plot of the show but he has been good about giving fans glimpses from behind-the-scenes of filming.

House of Cards stars Kevin Spacey, who plays Frank Underwood, and Robin Wright, who portrays Claire Underwood.

The third season of House of Cards is currently filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
