New creepy stills featuring the cursed doll herself and a baby in a black, funereal-looking, hooded pram for Annabelle were recently revealed by Warner Bros., and it's enough to work up a frightful appetite for the horror film.

The image shows an abandoned pram in a hallway, as a woman shines a torch from far away towards it. She is walking toward the pram, and there is not telling what demonically possessed being lies in there, perhaps Annabelle, the cursed doll herself?

Annabelle has been directed by John R. Leonetti and produced by James Wan. the movie is a spin-off and prequel to The Conjuring. Wan directed The Conjuring but as he had his hands full with directing Fast and Furious 7, Leonetti took the reigns on this one.

The plot of the movie focusses on the haunted doll, Anabelle, who is brought into the Gordon family by John for his pregnant wife, Mia, and their unborn child. The family's troubles begin as a dangerous cult takes over and use Anabelle as conduit for an evil force which is indomitable.

The doll was also seen in The Conjuring, locked away in the basement with other haunted objects, who were rid of their demonic possession. After The Conjuring swept audiences off their feet, fans eagerly await Annabelle which will dig deeper and provide some context to The Conjuring.

The movie stars Annabelle Wallis as Mia Gordon, Ward Horton as Join Gordon, Alfre Woodard as Evelyn, Eric Laden as Detective Clarkin, Brian Howe as Pete Higgins and Tony Amendola as Father Perez.

The movie is set for release on October 2.
