It was supposed to be the Hollywood wedding of the year, but it looks as though half of tinsel town's A-list stars failed to even show up. Rumor has it that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, along with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, and Julia Roberts did not show up to George Clooney's Italian wedding in Venice to his new wife, Amul Alamuddin.

Is Jennifer Aniston Getting Pregnant Before Her Wedding?

It was reported earlier this summer than Aniston and Theroux, along with Pitt and Jolie would all attend the wedding, but it looks as though they all skipped out on the festivities, despite their close off-screen relationships with Clooney.

Those celebrities that were in attendance including Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, Matt Damon and wife wife Lucia, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Did Jennifer Aniston Break-Up With Justin Theroux?

Earlier this summer, it was reported that Aniston had therapy sessions to help her overcome with her anxiety of possibly meeting Pitt and Jolie at the wedding.

"Brad and Jen's publicists have worked really hard to avoid awkward run-ins over the years, but now they're figuring out the best way to stage manage George's wedding," a source told British magazine Heat back in June.

"George is close to Jen and Justin [Theoux] and spent New Year with them in Mexico. He thinks it's about time Jen just does the inevitable and sees Brad and Angie face-to-face," the source added.

Pitt was also tipped to be Clooney's best man at the wedding. So far, publicists for Aniston and Theroux along with Pitt and Jolie have not commented as to why the superstars were absent at the wedding.
