The Originals has a new poster out and the elegantly sinister promo promises more delectably vicious storylines to come. Literally.

On Friday The Hollywood Reporter debuted the poster, which featured (left to right) Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), Danielle Campbell (Davina), Daniel Gillies (Elijah), Leah Pipes (Cami), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) seated around a darkly lit and fully set table. This deadly feast also features red candles and a large dog opposite Hayley. A crow sits on Klaus' shoulder as the dangerous hybrid looks off into the distance.
In the top left corner reads the new tagline "Eat. Drink. And Be Wary" in red ink.
Klaus Returning To 'Mass Murder' On 'The Originals' This Fall
With a new werewolf threat and the return of both Mikaelson parents, Elijah and Klaus will have their hands full maintaining their hold in New Orleans when the show returns for its second season next month. They will also be struggling with the loss of baby Hope and Hayley's new hybrid status, which has made her bloodthirsty as she tries to fill the void her child left behind.
"Sins of the past [are] coming to haunt us in the present," teased producer Michael Narducci, likely referring to Mikael and Esther, as well as flashbacks which will include The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev as Elijah and Klaus' tragic love interest. This episode is scheduled to take place a month after the premiere on Nov. 3, giving writers some time to set up the present state of affairs, which pick up three months after the birth of Hope.
The Originals returns for a second season on a new night Monday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
