Several schemes are secretly being planned among the characters on Days of Our Lives, but none of the shady deals may compare to what Susan (Eileen Davidson) wants now that she's back in Salem.

E.J. Shocked By Susan's Arrival In Salem

E.J.'s (James Scott) crazy mother is back in town after an exceedingly long absence, and her appearance never usually means anything good. Not only will she spell serious trouble for Kristen (Eileen Davidson in her dual role), but her arrival could mean terrible things for E.J. as well-especially since he has finally just won Sami (Alison Sweeney) back for good.

Now, his mother will deliver an important message to him-though he may not believe what she has to say considering their history. However, whatever message she has for her son could be important enough for him to consider since she did risk coming back to Salem to talk to him.

Paige & J.J.'s Relationship In Trouble?

Meanwhile, Eve's (Kassie DePaiva) own crazy side is starting to show thanks to her plot to break up her daughter, Paige (True O'Brien) and her boyfriend, J.J. (Casey Moss). Blaming J.J. for Paige's decision to defer going to Stanford, she plotted with a scam artist to set him up at a party. The scheme took an even darker turn however when her hired help was forced to drug J.J. before posing him for incriminating photos.

Now, J.J. is trying to not only repair the damage the photos caused to his relationship with Paige, but he is trying to defend himself against Eve's schemes as well. She has thus far proven to be a powerful enemy however, forcing him to enlist Daniel's (Shawn Christian) help once again.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
