Racecar driver, Danica Patrick and country music singer, Miranda Lambert, teamed up for Lambert's "The Fastest Girl in Town" music video. Even as a record-breaking athlete, Patrick was surprised to receive the offer from the singer to appear in her video.

"Miranda was great," Patrick said to ESPN.

"I appreciated her asking me. Every time somebody famous knows who I am I always say, 'I can't believe you know my name.' It's a funny thought. Maybe I sound silly, but it's still really cool when somebody famous like that knows who you are," Patrick continued.

The racer and country star got along on set very well, reports say. Patrick says she and Lambert are "kindred spirits," and would be trouble if they got together more often.

"She's got a lot of pep and a lot of spark. She and I got along. I just feel like she and I are kindred spirits, and we'd be trouble together," Patrick added.

The music video to Lambert's "The Fastest Girl in Town" is a Thelma & Louise-themed mini-movie that is driven by the storyline and not performance.

"I really get to act in the video," Lambert said. "We have live sound and action scenes which feel more like a mini-movie than a music video"

The women take roles as partners in crime for the feisty video. Patrick plays the getaway driver, she explained.

"We pull up to a bar and we may have used our femininity to distract the boys, grab some keys, slide out the back door and take off with the car," Patrick said.

This is not Patrick's first debut in a music video. The famous racecar driver actually appeared in Jay Z's "Show Me What You Got" music video in 2006, along with fellow driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr.
