It looks like the nude photo scandal is getting worse for some female celebrities, including Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney.

On Monday, a blog from CloudMark announced that a porn spammer is apparently using hacked websites to sell a leaked image of Maroney as well as stolen photos from Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton. According to the gymnast's lawyers, she was under 18 when the picture was made, making it illegal under child abuse laws in the United States.

The blog then pointed out that the attack happened earlier this month after the photos were posted on 4Chan. There was also reportedly a JPEG banner that was added to the landing pages that contained the hacked photos. There is supposed to be a new one of Miley Cyrus in use where the pictures are altered with hardcore pornography.

One image is captioned, "JUST IN: HACKED CELEBRITY PHOTOS AND VIDEOS FROM APPLE'S ICLOUD LEAK! HOTTEST NUDE CELEBS EXCLUSIVELY AT [redeacted].COM." There is also apparently another caption that says the photos are in sale for one dollar.

Since Maroney's leaked image could come with serious consequences for the chances that she was underage, Cloudmark reported the details to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The gymnast hasn't posted that often on her Instagram page lately, which could be due to the scandal. The last picture she posted was on Friday where she takes a selfie. She captioned the snapshot, "be you. the world will adjust."
