In the photo, published by People magazine, the Hollywood star and his bride look happier than ever as they embrace each other.

Alamuddin, a human rights lawyer, shows off her custom French lace Oscar de la Renta wedding gown with hand-embroidered pearls and diamante stones. The 36-year-old complemented the elegant dress with pearl earrings by Lebanese jeweler Chatila, which were a present from her parents, Baria and Ramzi Alamuddin.

The groom, 53, sported a Giorgio Armani tux with a black bow tie, white shirt and oxfords. He also wore a special present from Alamuddin - cufflinks with his name written in Arabic.

Clooney, who once said he would never say "I do" again after getting divorced in 1993, told People that marriage "feels pretty damn great."

"George and Amal radiated love all night," the bride's mother also dished. "The wedding was so unbelievably special, it was legendary. These three days - the friends, the families, the atmosphere, everything - will stay with me all the rest of my life."

Alamuddin's best friend also had kind words to say. "I had never seen her smile like that," Jae Kim said about Alamuddin. "She has had that smile now for almost a year straight!"

Clooney and Alamuddin, who met in Italy a few years prior, wed in the country's Aman Candal Grande hotel on Sept. 27 in front of 100 of their family members and friends. They said they are now "looking forward to everything."
