A major bombshell has been dropped on General Hospital, but the secret may not be kept from the person who needs to hear it the most for long.

Trying to explain why Sonny (Maurice Bernard) wanted her dead, Ava (Maura West) wound up telling Kiki (Kristen Aldersen) and Morgan (Bryan Craig) a slightly altered version of the truth. She left out the part about Sonny wanting retribution for her murdering Connie, but told them that Sonny had killed Michael's (Chad Duell) birth father, A.J.

Now, she will beg them to keep her secret-but Kiki won't stand for Michael being kept in the dark any longer.

"Michael deserves to know the truth,: she says to her mother in a preview clip for the Tuesday, September 30 episode.

If Michael does learn the truth about A.J.'s death, it would change his relationship with Sonny forever.

And while the bombs on the Corinthos side of the mob war have already begun to explode, the ones on the Jerome side are prepping to go off as well. While no one has yet figured out that the Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) who has been acting strangely is actually an impostor, the pieces continue falling into place which suggest that he is the head of the Jerome crime organization.

However, despite overwhelming evidence from Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Sam (Kelly Monaco), Luke's wife, Tracy (Jane Elliott), will still have a hard time believing her husband could be capable of such crimes.

"The Luke Spencer I know would never do such a thing," she says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
