It looks like the fans of Mistresses can rest easy now.

Chatter On Joss Witnessing An Erotic Moment On Past Episode Of 'Mistresses'

On Tuesday, Entertainment Weekly announced the news from ABC that the series will indeed continue with a third season for 13 episodes. A date hasn't been announced yet, but it will likely come back in summer 2015.

And while things are subject to change with how the plot will circulate, executive producers Rina Momoun and K.J. Steinberg spoke to Zap 2 It recently about how the premiere will begin; it would start off with Joss and Harry's big romantic moment on the beach where Savi will probably walk in on it, leaving some devastating results.

Joss's Engagement Chatter On 'Mistresses'

"Given that [Savi's] been a character who's been largely in control of every relationship she's had on the show...I think that the betrayal of Joss and Harry is going to destroy her, so we're going to see something from her we've never seen before," Steinberg said.

Even though Savi might be some mixed feelings over Harry, Dom isn't quite out of the picture at this point.

"Dom's love for her does not wane," Mimoun said. "He will try to get her back and he will try to remain in her life. We adore Jason George and there is still so much left to be played with him."

Mimoun also mentioned that the third season will revolve around how relationships can split women up in their friendship.
