MTV's Jenelle Evans may not have had custody of her first son during all his big moments, but the Teen Mom 2 star is looking to do things right this time around.

Evans' youngest, Kaiser, turned three months old on Monday and as he grows and learns his proud mother has been there to document it every step of the way.

Evans acknowledges that he's growing fast and she's determined to be there for him, even when things aren't necessarily easy.

On Wednesday morning Evans was up with the sun, and her son, as she watched Kaiser eat raspberries and laughing at his father.

All these public displays of motherhood could be intentional as a way of showing competent parenting skills. Kaiser is the first child together for Evans and boyfriend Nathan Griffith. The two live together in North Carolina and while each has a child from a previous relationship, their youngest is the only one for whom they presently have custody.

This may change, however, as Evans began to discuss getting five-year-old Jace back from her mother Barbara on the last episode of the MTV reality series.

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with its fifth season Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
