Even though Fox's Bones killed off one of its main characters in the Season 10 premiere episode, fans should not expect any other characters to die this season.

Booth "Has To Learn How To Trust" The FBI Again

In discussing Wendell (Michael Grant Terry), who is still battling with bone cancer, executive producer Stephen Nathan suggested that the character will probably be fine this season. However, Wendell's cancer arc will "definitely be revisited" in the new season, according to a new report by TVLine. "We've already done the first episode dealing with that, and that will continue for a few more episodes."

On a lighter note, the upcoming 200th episode of the show will be a significant one. While it is not necessarily an "alternate reality" type of episode, Nathan said that "They're all going to be playing their characters, but in a different world and situation."

Bones 200th Episode Set To Be 'A Day In The Life' Of Booth, Brennan & More Characters

In the mean time, the series' main characters will still be dealing with the death of Dr. Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley), who was killed in the Season 10 premiere. However, he will still be able to help the team solve a case in his own unique way. As revealed from the press release of the second episode, "the Jeffersonian team lays their beloved friend and colleague Lance Sweets to rest after his tragic death, but not before he helps them solve the case from the grave."

Bones Season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
