He has a track record of playing a formidable villain in other blockbuster movies, but could Mark Strong be moving his evil plans to the Bond franchise next?

Is Rihanna Playing A Bond Girl In 'Bond 24?'

While casting is still underway for the next Bond film, it seems like Daniel Craig could be wrangling in one of his friends to play a part in the movie. Hey U Guys uncovered a picture on Wednesday of Craig in Morocco doing location scouting. But what was interesting about the photo was that Strong was there with him.

It seems plausible that Strong, who is also a friend of Craig's, could be apart of the film due to his experience playing a villain in Kick-Ass, The Guard and Sherlock Holmes (he has a commercial talking about it even!). The actor has that classic, bad guy look and could be the perfect adversary for Bond moving forward.

Could A Wife & Husband Be The Two Lead Characters In 'Bond 24?'

Strong has voiced before that he would like to play a Bond villain, and with director Sam Mendes setting up a return to the classics with this next movie, he could have Strong be the villain for a possible arc to end the Daniel Craig era.

Mendes is also looking for an iconic henchman to go with the villain among other casting, including finding a new British Bond girl with names like Penelope Cruz and most recently, Rihanna, rumored.

Bond 24 is coming from a script by Robert Wade, Neal Purvis and John Logan. It is also bringing back Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes and Rory Kinnear.

It is hitting theaters on Nov. 6, 2016.
