The actor who plays Kristoff in ABC's Once Upon a Time, would be open to starring in a Frozen spinoff if such as show was presented to him.

Elsa Separated From Anna In 'Once Upon a Time'

Scott Michael Foster, who plays the live action Kristoff in the ABC series, said that he would be open to the idea of being in a Once Upon a Time-Frozen spinoff show

"I am always always open to talk about future work!" Foster admitted to HollywoodLife.com this week. "It honestly just depends on who would be doing it and would they keep everybody that was on the show. I would obviously be more willing that way. Absolutely."

New 'Once Upon a Time' Addition Elizabeth Mitchell's Snow Queen Character Is Dark In 'Chilling Fashion'

Hopefully such a show would fare better than Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, the Alice-themed spinoff that aired last year and had very low ratings. While the spinoff was only intended to air for one season, ABC was likely very disappointed in its ratings.

As for Kristoff's relationship with Anna (Elizabeth Lail), Foster said that there are plenty of avenues to explore.

"Anna is the apple of his eye," Foster continued. "[Kristoff is] a rugged mountain man who grew up with trolls, so there's a bunch of avenues he can take to expand his character, based off him not being used to palace life," Scott revealed.

Once Upon a Time Season 4 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
