Just one day after it was announced that Mistresses would be renewed for a third season, one of its leading characters announced that she would not be on the show anymore.

On Wednesday, Alyssa Milano who plays Savi on the series, revealed that she would not return to the ABC drama due to relocation reasons. According to MSN Entertainment, the series has moved its location to Vancouver, Canada instead of staying in California, and Milano does not want to go through with moving because of her two children.

"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canda for financial reasons," the actress said in a statement. "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under four. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away."

'Mistresses' Gets Renewed For More Episodes

Milano added that she will miss everyone, but wishes them the greatest for what's to come.

"I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best," she said.

Milano has a son named Milo, 3, and a daughter named Elizabella, who was born on September 4 of this year. She is married to Dave Bugliari.

This leaves some questions on how the series will continue without Savi considering that she's one of the big characters on the show. Plus, there's the theory on how well the show will do without Milano and if it will lose viewers.
