While the rumor mill for the third Avengers movie has been going crazy even though the second one hasn't even released a trailer, it seems like another possibility has gone on the table for the team-up movie from Marvel and it may be a lot of new faces.

Spider-Man Could Be Joining The Avengers Very Soon

It seems like the third Avengers movie could be set around a bunch of new faces as Marvel doesn't seem keen on losing their big names like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, or Chris Hemsworth just yet. While Downey Jr. may be the only old name in the third Avengers, he could be joined by a lot of new characters in order to bring them into the universe.

Cinema Blend speculated Monday on exactly who would be joining up for the movie and it seems like it could be a bunch of characters introduced at the end of Marvel's Phase 2 and most of the characters in Phase 3. This includes: Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, The Vision and Falcon.

'Avengers 3' May Leave Out Two Of Your Favorite Members Of The Team

This doesn't seem like the worst strategy as it would allow the studio to hold onto Evans and Hemsworth a little longer, since their contacts are running up, and give the actors some time to rest after multiple years of being in these roles in a row. It also would let audiences get acquainted better with these new heroes, much like the first movie did.

It also feeds into the rumor that Marvel may be setting up for a giant event movie with almost all the characters fighting Thanos, including the Guardians of the Galaxy.

While it would be unfortunate to see Evans and Hemsworth sidelined, making these characters more realized with audiences may be Marvel's best course moving forward and it would keep the actors happy and not stuck doing these roles every year.
