Farrah Abraham has continued to lead a highly publicized life following her exit from MTV's Teen Mom. With books, film roles and the opening of her own restaurant, she has certainly kept herself busy.

There is still, however, controversy as to whether Abraham was pushed out after co-stars refused to work with her or if the network had elected not to include her in the upcoming 2015 season.

During MTV's Ask the Moms special on Monday, stars Katelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood and Maci Bookout dished on why Abraham wouldn't be joining them in the new episodes.

"After we stopped filming Teen Mom [in 2012], we all went in our own directions, kind of started our lives without cameras," explained Bookout, "And Farrah made some choices that didn't really match with what the show was about."

While the stars didn't get into specifics, these "choices" likely had something to do with the release of Abraham's "sex tape," sex toy line, and recent employment at the Palazio Gentlemen's Club, where she claims to be stripping for "research" purposes.

"If one of us is not making decisions that goes with our message," continued Bookout, "then it kind of takes away from what we're trying to do in the first place. So, it wasn't our choice to not have her on the show with us, but we wish her the best."

Currently Abraham is in the process of putting together a restaurant in Austin, Texas and recently filmed scenes for the upcoming slasher flick Axeman II: Overkill. She is also having her five-year-old daughter Sophia homeschooled, though she doesn't spend as much time with the girl as she would like.

Abraham's six-figure deal with the Palazio runs until December. Axeman II: Overkill is scheduled to hit theatres in 2015.
