Fans got their first taste of FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show Wednesday night and it seems like conjoined twins Dot and Bette (Sarah Paulson) will be in a bit of a love triangle with Jimmy (Evan Peters).

Despite Bette's more idealistic and romantic tendencies, it was the more cynical Dot who seemed to have a crush on Jimmy after they entered the freak show. This storyline will develop going forward as jealousy will eventually plague the twins.

"In most cases where there really were two individuals connected, one of them fell in love with someone the other half despises," AHS show runner Ryan Murphy revealed to E! Online. "Some conjoined twins were married to two different women. So think about, what do you do? Do you accept it, do you try to kill them?"

The report reveals that the jealousy will "kick in" during the second episode.

Meanwhile, there will be even more complications in this odd love triangle when Emma Roberts' character Maggie enters the freak show. Maggie, who is a fortuneteller/con artist, will not be appreciated by one of the twins.

"Emma plays a love interest to Evan, who one of the twins has it out for right away," Murphy teased.

Roberts' Maggie won't show up until Episode 3, along with her con artist partner Stanley.

American Horror Story: Freak Show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
