It seems as though Kendall Jenner is doing whatever it takes to become a successful supermodel these days. Rumor has it that the reality television star has been taking a "ruthless" approach about her career while her friends say she's been acting like a "robot."

According to Radar Online on Thursday, sources close to the hopeful model say that she is 100 percent focused on becoming a model, while doing her best to leave her reality television days behind her.

A source told the site, "Kendall's not spoken to so many to so many of her old high school pals for months and has no plans on changing that. She's so work-focused right now - it's all about modeling, her image and keeping it edgy."

In fact, it looks as though she's ditched everyone in her inner circle for the spotlight, instead.

The insider added, "Her old Los Angeles crew is just not part of her world anymore. She only wants to be with people who can help her with modeling now. Nothing else matters. She's like a robot machine with her crazy fitness and diet routine she's doing - and she's only 18."

Meanwhile, designer Michael Kors had nothing but praise for Jenner recently.

According to E! Online on Tuesday, Kors said that Jenner is making great strides as a model and made the right decision by dropping her last name and trying to distance herself from the Kardashian family so those in the fashion world can take her a little more seriously.

He said, "I think she's a strong, powerful, great-looking girl. She's a real professional. I love that her card just says Kendall. So she's not trading on her name and I think she's going to have a great career."
