It looks like Juan Pablo Galavis is trying to reconstruct his public image after scrutiny on both ABC's The Bachelor and now VH1's Couples Therapy.

Juan Pablo Galavis Thinks Her's Misunderstood

Galavis knows he isn't the most popular guy and that some ABC fans have declared him the "worst" Bachelor to ever appear on the series. According to the former pro soccer player, it seems the "magic" of television is the blame for all of it.

Juan Pablo Galavis Says Nikki Ferrell Is Doing 'Great'

Galavis has often criticized media manipulation, from television to tabloid stories which alleged he'd cheated on girlfriend Nikki Ferrell over the summer in Atlantic City, N.J.

Back on July 10, Galavis referred to the media as a "circus" when he posted a "real life" photo of him and Ferrell.

At the time it had seemed like he'd been relieved that all the chaos of The Bachelor was beginning to die down, but then the couple went and nabbed a spot on Couples Therapy, which quickly pushed them back into the spotlight. Galavis initially promoted the start of the show's new season, though he has since quieted down following Ferrell's exit, and eventually reentry into, social media.

Couples Therapy continues on VH1 with its fifth season Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
