With names like Penelope Cruz and Rihanna being rumored around the role, it seems like James Bond has found his next Bond girl and she may be one of the biggest challenges he has had yet.

This Beautiful Location Will Be The Home Of Some 'Bond 24' Scenes

The Daily Mail reported on Thursday that Lea Seydoux, who was most recently in Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, is set to join the cast of Bond 24. While it wasn't specified that she is "the" Bond girl, the report labeled her as the film's femme fatale.

Gaining much acclaim for her work in last year's Blue is the Warmest Color, Seydoux is no stranger to the blockbuster game after playing a small role in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was also in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.

Rihanna May Be Singing The Theme Song Instead Of Acting In 'Bond 24'

If Seydoux ends up not being the Bond girl, it would seem that she is set to play someone who could get close to Bond, but end up turning on him in the end. While this seems similar to Eva Green's character in Casino Royale, Seydoux and star Daniel Craig probably won't have as extensive a relationship and she will tip her evil intentions much sooner.

If this ends up the role she is playing, it would be expected that a few more actresses could be joining as more romantic roles to play against Craig. Director Sam Mendes and Craig were looking for Scandinavian actresses to play small roles earlier this year.

With Seydoux and Craig, Bond 24 also includes Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Rory Kinnear. It is set to open in theaters on Nov. 6, 2015.
