After recently obtaining his astounding 19th medal at the 2012 London Olympic Games, Michael Phelps may very well go down as the very best Olympic athlete in U.S's long history. However, it is some of the personal details about the man behind the medals himself that you rarely get to hear.

Phelps recently sat down in May with "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" to dish on a few of the details about his larger than life motivations.

When queried about whether or not he consumed the rumored 12,000 calories a day, the superstar swimmer came clean with the following:

"I never ate that much. It's all a myth. I've never eaten that many calories. I wish! It's just too much though. It would be impossible," he told Seacrest.

When the high-profile host asked Phelps about his waking up routine, the star admitted he's nowhere near a good morning person.

"I actually listen to you guys in the morning too sometimes. You guys are up whenever I'm going to the pool. I always hear Ryan on the radio whenever I'm scrolling through my stations. It actually helps me get up. I'm the worst morning person in the world. So being able to listen to some of the jokes you guys make definitely helps me get up in the morning," he said.

The legend in the making Olympian also revealed to the radio show what he listens to on his iPod.

"I've started listening to some Afrojack or Avicii or Skrillex. Guys like that give me more of an upbeat tune to get me even more fired up. Those are some new things I've started doing," he finished.

With loads off of time outside of the Olympics, Phelps likes to keep himself busy with a surprising guilty pleasure; playing Xbox 360's "Call Of Duty."

Turns out the star is known to rake up to 30 hours a week of gaming on his time off.  Although he even shamefully admits to still getting his butt kicked by younger players.
