Nick Cannon has opened up on all the attention he's been receiving due to the alleged split with his wife, Mariah Carey, where he actually seemed happy to discuss it.

On Thursday, E! News posted the interview that Cannon had on Huff Post Live where he was asked how difficult it can be to continue his life with so much media frenzy revolving around his marriage. The America's Got Talent host revealed that he was glad to be asked this question.

"It's interesting because dealing with your personal life in the public eye and really, a lot of the time, public opinion is the harshest thing about it, so you kind of have to block out all that stuff, even coming and speaking about it and talking about it because people are going to have opinions and I always kind of came to the belief that, 'Hey, what people say about me is really none of my business,'" Cannon said.

While scandalous moments like this can be challenging for certain celebrities, Cannon admitted that he doesn't really have a problem when controversy surrounds him.

"You know, I'm a very outspoken person. I've been in media all my life. I've created controversy. I've never stood away from it. I welcome it," Cannon said. "Honestly, when you're dealing with things in your personal life, usually business is the thing that, at least for me, keeps you going, you know what I mean, in staying focused."
