Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are one famous couple, but their daughters couldn't be less interested in having a country star for a father and award-winning actress for a mother.

Nicole Kidman Wants Another Baby With Keith Urban

Kidman sat down to discuss her upcoming film Before I Go To Sleep with Mamamia on Sunday though the actress willingly opened up about her personal life.

"They're not even a little bit interested in what I do!" declared Kidman of her daughters, six-year-old Sunday Rose and three-year-old Faith Margaret. "They know mommy is an actor and daddy sings. They're interested in toys, fairy dresses, parties, school, and reading, which is great."

The actress is incredibly thankful for her girls and the home she's built with Urban, acknowledging that life is often a lot to handle.

"Life itself and the journey, is a roller coaster. I know more than ever how precious time is, more than anything I just have this desire to be very very tight with my family and my children," she emphasized. "I'm incredibly fortunate that I've managed to find an extraordinary man in Keith. He has been such a rock for me, through everything."

"It took a long time to get there," Kidman added, "But I have a six-year-old and a three-year-old and this really, really great guy. I'm lucky."

Through tragedy this year, the superstar couple were recently reminded to treasure their time together. Kidman's father, Dr. Antony Kidman, passed away last month and it's been a devastating journey for the 47-year-old actress.

"We loved him so much…" explained the grieving star. "He was a great, great father… and I was so close toy him, and I think any woman who was a girl who is very close to their father, for them, it's completely heartbreaking."

Nicole has taken great comfort in her husband during this time, who she admits reminds her of her own father. "Keith is so much like my dad," she admitted. "Seeing our two little girls climbing all over him and seeing him take care of them and hold them and be there for them, he's just such a responsible, great man in their life."

Family means everything to the Before I Go To Sleep star. "Hopefully we'll give them that chance to go and find themselves, in their relationships," she said of her daughters. "Because that is passed down."
