It's a big year for Tim McGraw. The country singer recently released his latest album Sundown Heaven Town and celebrated his 18th wedding anniversary with wife and fellow country artist Faith Hill.

With the CMA Awards right around the corner, McGraw and Hill might just have even more to celebrate. Meanwhile Back At Mama's, their duet off McGraw's new album is up for Single Of The Year and Musical Event Of The Year.

A critical and commercial success, the song even landed a place in the top 10 for Billboard's Hot Country Songs in August. According to Billboard, this marked McGraw's 50th top-10 hit and Hill's first since 2007.

McGraw's career is on this rise, which brings to attention the fact that Hill has remained out of the spotlight for quite some time. Having not appeared as a solo artist on Billboard's top 10 since 2006, the mother of three seems to have settled into raising their three daughters, occasionally jumping back into the music world for a duet with her husband.

Has marriage hurt Hill's career? Has her sacrifice helped catapult McGraw's success? Now that their kids are growing up, there might be a shift in their marital dynamic.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2013 (featured below), Hill seemed pretty adamant about not having any more children. "No more kids…" she declared. "Look, it is so busy with three girls. It's good."

With no more children in their future, their careers could evolve into separate entities as the years continue.

The Country Music Awards will air live on ABC Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
