After news broke last week that Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller was accused of terrorizing a 13-year-old student, the teacher seemingly responded via Twitter.

"I think sometimes you all forget that you can't believe everything you hear or read- especially online! #DanceMoms," she tweeted on Tuesday.

Miller also retweeted supportive messages from fans who praised the reality star for her work.

Paige Hyland sued Miller for physical and verbal abuse, which has caused many students to suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, according to TMZ. Hyland also claims that Miller overworked students, forcing them to have 60-hour weeks and 12-hour days. In addition, Miller reportedly belittled the students and even pinched some until they bled.

The teenager's lawyer, Michael Shapiro, said: "I'm not looking to make a lot of money off this. I think what Miller has done to the kids is intolerable and has got to stop. It's the most repugnant case I've been involved in after 49 years of practice."

This isn't the first time someone from the Hyland family has sued the dance teacher. The dancer's mother, Kelly Hyland, sued Miller earlier this year for allegedly mistreating her two daughters and for attacking her.
