The premiere season of "Love and Hip Hop Hollywood" has created several new reality-based celebrities and re-launched the careers of a few musicians.  But, not all of the reception has been positive, and one of the people on the receiving end of the hate has been former LA publicist turned rapper, Hazel E.

Yung Berg posted a meme of her with unflattering screenshots from the show and made comments suggesting that he did not like the way she looked.  Fans and others sounded off on Instagram and Twitter about the reality star's hair and make-up in the past few episodes, but Hazel wants to set the record straight about all of the rumors.  Find out who she really is and what she hopes to accomplish by being on this show in the new part of our exclusive.

Hazel Wants Her Former Roomie, Teairra Mari, To Get Help for Her Anger

GP:  So, tell me about your experience as a publicist.  On the show, you mentioned that you worked with Chris Brown, Teairra and more artists.  Tell me more about that..

Hazel E:  Chris Brown came to a couple of events that I threw.  When I was a publicist, part of it was representing artists.  I've represented Eva Pigford.  I've represented Meagan Good.  I helped Gnarles Barkley build their first campaign.  We have a Grammy in our offices because of it.  I took Tank to the Grammy's.  I helped build "The Boondocks."  We took it from a cartoon strip and helped make it a TV show with Aaron Mcruder.  I was a top publicist in this game.  Before the Kardashians, it was me and Khloe-I was making young Hollywood hot in these streets.

GP:  Wow.

Hazel E:  Yea and then I got the chance from a man named Idris Elba, who goes by DJ Dris in the music world, at a red carpet event I threw.  He asked me, "What do you really want to do with yourself?"  I said, "I really want to do music."

So, I let him hear my music- "Valley Girl"- and he started managing me.  Then, we put out my first mixtape "Shoe Fetish" and he just took me under his wing. He was the one that started getting me poppin' music-wise.  He started getting my music hot because it was Idris Elba!  Then, I never looked back.  I never quit my day job because the bills had to be paid, but I was coming to the forefront of what my dreams were.

I love Fergie and Gwen Stefani.  I felt like, if I could be on my pop-rock-hip-hop-chick, then I could make it.  I'm still grinding and I'm going to get it.  My new single, "Now You Know," was played on the show... It's been a grind, no one is made overnight.  That's what I want all of the little girls and people to know.  You don't have to lay on your back, f-kin' for tracks.  It's okay to get an education and go to school so when people try to put these contracts in your face, you're going to have a little bit more knowledge than they expect.  It takes more than a pretty face to make it out here.  I want to be hope for people.  "You can do it, too!" -That's the message I want to deliver.

Hazel Sets the Record Straight About Yung Berg

GP:  What do you say to people who think you are too old to pursue a career in rap?  Teairra even mentioned that when you two fell out when you moved...

Hazel E:  I mean, I look at like this:  Two Chainz got poppin' when he was 40.  Fergie is in her 40s.  "Fergalicious" didn't come out until she was 35 or 36 years old.  So, I don't think there's a time or an age limit on hotness.  Actually, all the hottest chicks right now-Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose, Nicki Minaj-everybody is in their 30's.  So I say to those little girls, "Grow up!"  When you grow up, then you'll able to get on this level because I know who I am now.  I'm not falling for the okey-doke.  Yea, I might've got played out by one guy and that was a fool being in love, but what does my age have to do with it?  I'm still looking good.  I'm actually looking better than you because you don' gained thirty pounds in the process, I don' lost  thirty because I'm focused!  And there's no expiration on hotness, baby.  I'm going to be a true testament of it... Girl, please!  You'll grow up soon.

GP:  So, what's the biggest misconception about Hazel E?

Hazel E: Now, everyone is talking about how I look and stuff.  Maybe, the biggest misconception is that I was doing my own hair and makeup everyday.  No, they had a glam squad and these are the decisions that they made for us to look like and unfortunately, I was the first person to shoot "Love and Hip Hop Hollywood."  I was the very first person on-camera, so I kinda was a test dummy.  As the season goes on, I get better... By the middle of the season, you are going to see ya' girl looking good, stuntin' on h-s out here.  And another misconception is, I don't give a damn!  Haters are going to hate, y'all keep me trending every night so keep talking.  I'm sure they hated on Nene, Paris & Nicole, Snooki... Every reality chick that made it to the top probably dealt with that hate so I don't give a damn.  If you love me, I love you back and if you hate me I still love you back.
