Charice Pempengco sat down with Oprah Winfrey to talk about life as a lesbian on the newest episode of OWN's "Where are They Now." As most people know by now, because she is the queen of all media, Oprah has the power to get to the honest truth of any interview subject she encounters. In her new sit down, her Oprah-magic worked on signing sensation Charice Pempengco because she opened up about her new life in a way she'd never done before.

"I knew when I was 5, I was in grade school and I saw this girl, and I felt different. I didn't know what it was, but I just knew ... it felt special. And when I was 10, I was like, 'Oh, that's it; I'm gay," the now 22-year-old talent revealed.

Winfrey first met Charice when she was 16-years-old. During this time, she was a young innocent girl from the Philippines who moved to America with her mother to get away from her abusive father. The musical-prodigy-turned Glee phenom came out to the world in 2013, but would always refer to herself as a tomboy before doing so.

Since her appearance has drastically changed in recent years, Winfrey asked her if she wanted to make the change to become a man, which would ultimately change her from a lesbian to transgender. She replied, "I'm not exactly transitioning to like a male, male. Basically, my soul is like male, but I'm not going to go through that stage where I am going to change everything."
