An insider told TMZ Sports Thursday Govan allegedly forged Barnes' signature in order to obtain a loan for $150,000.

News of the incident came after Nina Rawls, widow of late R&B crooner Lou Rawls sued Govan.

She claimed that the reality star asked for the money in order to produce a television show with the couple's company. Nina said that she did give the Govan the money back in March, but emphasized that she would have to pay her back within the next 60 days. By the end of May, Nina had not gotten any of the money she was owed.

She then said that Govan confessed she signed her husband's name on the loan papers. It's not clear if Barnes knew about the negotiation but insiders also told the entertainment news site that he had no idea about it. Nina is still demanding her money plus even more for damages that were accrued since then.

A source also told TMZ that Barnes did decide to take a break from Govan about six weeks ago. He reportedly stated that the two were dealing with "trust issues." They are said to live in the same home but one of them is rumored to be preparing to leave when the divorce papers are filed.

They tied the knot in 2012 and have two sons, five-year-old twins, together.
