Things aren't going too well for former reality star Jon Gosselin. The 37-year-old has reportedly been evicted from his Pennsylvania home after he failed to pay rent for four months.

"Jon didn't understand the terms of the contract and broke the lease, thinking he could just rent the property after agreeing to the rent to own the contractual agreement," a source told Star magazine. "Evidently, he didn't understand the terms of the contract."

Last December, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star moved in to the $299,000 home, located near his ex-wife Kate and their eight children. Mr. Gosselin reportedly said he was trying to come up with money for the loan, however, he had several checks bounce.

"He acted like he had all this money," the source said. "The owners tried to work with him, and he'd get cocky and claim he could easily pay for the house in cash."

Gosselin previously told Entertainment Tonight that after his reality show, he hasn't been able to obtain a steady job. It was "next to nearly impossible to find work," he said in 2013.

Since the show ended in 2011 after four years, Gosselin worked as a waiter at the local restaurant Black Dog. Recently, he was employed by a credit card company, but the opportunity fell flat.

He also spoke about his almost nonexistent relationship with Kate, whom he divorced in 2009 after ten years of marriage.

"I don't have a relationship with Kate. There is no relationship. Text and email. That's it," he said. "The nanny comes out and I exchange the kids at her gate or at the bus stop. I don't physically see her."
