The preview clip for the upcoming episode of The Affair, which was recently released, shows Noah (Dominic West) being dangerously drawn toward Alison (Ruth Wilson).

The Investigation Related To Alison's Husband Cole's Murder In The Affair?  

In the video he is seen telling Alison that he can't stop thinking about her. When she responds by saying that that's sweet, he dismally rebuffs, stating that it is not sweet but it's a problem. That's the drift the next episode seems to be taking, Noah seems to be falling in too deep, and has a family he loves and cares about, which he can't afford to jeopardise. But it is very evident that he will give in to temptation, and embrace the mystical allure of Alison.

The premiere of Showtime's new drama, The Affair, has already caught the attention of critics, and has viewers hooked with its Rashomon-styled narrative.

The show premiered on October 12 and revolves around Noah, a writer struggling to pen his next novel. and Alison, a waitress at a diner as the duo recall their affair for a mysterious interrogation. The fans aren't made privvy to the subject of the interrogation in the first episode. Both Noah and Alison are married, while Noah seems happily married with four children, Alison's marriage is tumultous over the loss of their only child.

The show premiered on October 12. The first episode is available for free viewing on the official website.

The next episode of the series will air on October 26 at 10 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
