As the movie heads to post-production, it seems like the next movie in the Divergent series is doing some re-shoots in one of America's largest cities.

When Is The First Look At 'Insurgent' Coming & Could It Be Earlier Than Anticipated?

The Chicago Tribune reported on Saturday that Insurgent filming was seen alongside the Chicago River. According to the Tribune, during the shoot, a low-flying helicopter swooped down toward the Chicago River around Dearborn Street before eventually rising up again around Columbus Drive. Chicago River bridges were raised along that stretch in order to make the shoot possible.

They said that it was reminiscent of a shoot done by director Michael Bay for his latest movie, Transformers: Age of Extinction back in 2013.

Will Shailene Woodley Be Wrapped In Guilt At The Beginning Of 'Insurgent?'

The Tribune added that while filming took place on Saturday, it would also continue on Sunday with more helicopter scenes. There was no word if stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley were there for the shoots.

While Divergent spent three months in Chicago in 2013 to film, this is the first time Insurgent has appeared in the city after they predominantly filmed in Atlanta for this film.

Insurgent follows Tris (Woodley) as she searches for allies and answers in the dystopian ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris and Four (Theo James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Kate Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris's family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them.

The film is directed by Robert Schwentke from a script by Brian Duffield and Akiva Goldsman. It stars Woodley, James, Ansel Elgort, Winslet, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoe Kravitz, Naomi Watts, Ray Stevenson and Octavia Spencer. The first trailer is expected to be attached to the release of the next Hunger Games movie.

Insurgent opens in theaters on March 20, 2015.
