Beautiful Brit Jessica Ennis will be competing in the Pentathlon over the course of today and tomorrow.  The 26 year-old started her conquest for the gold sensationally strong as she began the competition by breaking an Olympic record in the 100 meter hurdles.

Speaking of strength, the British beauty recently sat down with Cosmopolitan UK on July 8th to touch on her body, confidence and going for the gold at the London Games.

When it comes to her toned and fit body, Ennis isn't as confident in it as one may think. However, she does go on to explain that she has no qualms about being clothing free.

"On a scale of one to 10, I'd rate my body confidence as a good seven. Everyone has their hang-ups, but I see my body as a training tool and I feel good about it. I'm pretty body confident, and I'm comfortable being naked," she admits.

Exuberating the faith in herself that she does, the athletic Brit does not like to settle for anything less in competition than victory.

"As you progress, your standards get higher. So for me, a silver medal is still a great achievement, but knowing I was so close to getting a gold (at the World Indoor Championships), and that I was capable of getting a gold, made it frustrating that I didn't achieve that," Ennis explains.

Ennis went on to speak about her appreciation for having the Olympics in her home country. However, she was also aware early on of the sky high expectations that were going to be placed on her.

"The Olympics is massive in itself, but for it to be at home means it's not just sports fans watching.  It's everyone! I understand what people expect from me - I think it's normal for the general public to be putting gold medals around your neck already because they want to see you do well.  But I just try to keep things in perspective, stay focused on what I need to do and not get carried away," she reasoned.

Although she finished runner up to Tatyana Chernova at the World Championships in Daegu, South Korea in 2011, the skilled athlete currently leads her rival by 218 points after the high jump (2nd event).
