A new report reveals that things will start to get intense in something of the nature of a love triangle, when Felicity (Emily Bett-Rickards) informs Oliver (Stephen Amell) that she is going to be working for Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh).

Green Arrow Villain Brick Joins Season 3 Of Arrow

TVLine gave away this juicy spoiler, and stated that Oliver will not take this bit of news too well. Amell told the publication that Oliver will be flustered by Felicity joining Ray in the work space. "He pauses for a second then keeps going and changes the subject," he said. "[We're] certainly going to learn how Oliver feels about it. It comes to a head towards the latter part of our fall run."

Amell also addressed things in the context of the season premiere wherein Oliver and Felicity went out on a mighty awkward date.

Ray Palmer To Shrink Into The Atom On The Flash Instead

"I've always strived [to make] sure [Arrow] relationships are adult relationships. You can kiss someone and you can profess something to them, but that doesn't mean you avoid eye contact with them," Amell added. "There is a bigger goal and a much bigger circumstance at play. So, [while] I'm sure things are awkward, they've got work to do."

Even in a sneak peek clip for the upcoming episode, Corto Maltese, the tension between the two can be sensed a bit, as Felicity shares information about the location of the next perpetrator they are after.

The next episode will air on October 22.
