When it comes to Kip Moore's success in country music, the singer credits Tim McGraw for teaching him the most about performing.

"How to be a master of the dramatics, that's what I learned from Timmy," Moore admitted during an interview with Taste Of Country.

Having spent some time touring with McGraw, Moore took in all he could in learning how to hone his craft.

"The guy can turn a nothing moment into something huge," he continued. "He has a way about bringing the crowd to him without forcing them to come to him. The guy has the magic touch."

It wasn't just McGraw's performing that stunned the country singer, it was the star's whole attitude out on the road.

"The guy treated us like gold, his whole crew from top to bottom," insisted Moore. "That kind of stuff means a lot to me, because now I'm running my own tour and you watch some guys like that and how you're supposed to run a tour, how you're supposed to be a pro and he still cares. He still cares as much as I do now about being great at what he does. I can see that a mile away. With a guy that's had that much success, he is who he is because he cares that much."

Having come from humble beginnings, McGraw remains thankful for his success in country music.

"The first time I played a club, my first year of college, I took my high school ring and pawned it and bought a guitar," admitted McGraw in CMT back in July.

"I learned how to play fifty songs over that summer," he continued. "And started playing for tips at the end of that summer, and. Was hooked from then on…I knew that's what I wanted to do."

McGraw's latest record Sundown Heaven Town hit stores Sept. 16 and the singer continues his tour this month promoting the new album.
