Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since her pregnancy was announced last month.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who has been suffering from severe morning sickness, attended two events on Tuesday. In the morning she joined Prince William to welcome Singapore's President Tony Tan and his wife to the U.K. at the Royal Garden Hotel, London as part of his four-day visit. The 32-year-old sported a gray Alexander McQueen coat and a Jane Taylor hat.

During the evening, she stunned in a baby blue dress with a slit for an event held at the Natural History Museum in London to celebrate the 50th Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.

Prince William's wife had been forced to cancel several appearances after it was announced that the royal couple was expecting their second child because of her morning sickness. For example, Middleton wasn't able to attend launch of The Clore Art Room at Barlby Primary School in London on Oct. 1 as well as a trip to Malta.

Middleton suffered from the same condition during her first pregnancy with Prince George; however, she's "being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace," a royal announcement revealed last month.

The royal household announced Middleton's due date on Monday writing, the couple is "delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015."

The announcement also gave an update on her severe morning sickness. "The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving," the royal announcement said.
