The actor playing Cyborg in the DC Cinematic Universe has confirmed that he will be in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in a cameo appearance.

'Batman v Superman' Movie Cast Grows Even Larger; Almost 'Avengers' Sized

Ray Fisher, who was cast to play Cyborg on the big screen, spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently about joining the franchise and revealed that he actually filmed his scenes for Batman v Superman in July.

"I didn't know the extent to which DC and WB had planned on taking my character," Fisher said. "When I signed on, I just wanted to be part of this world. But that specific information, I found out then and there. I didn't think I'd be getting my own stand-alone film."

Robin Rumored To Be a Female In 'Batman v Superman'

Fisher will indeed be starring in Cyborg in the year 2020, which was announced last week along with seven other new titles in the Cinematic Universe for DC/Warner Bros.

Fisher said that he has met every member of the new Justice League with the exception of Henry Cavill, who plays Superman and Ezra Miller, who will play The Flash.

"It was surreal," Fisher admitted. "You get this idea of going to work on a Hollywood set as being really stressful and nerve-wracking. But it blew that stereotype away. If they did have stressful times, it wasn't while I was there."

Batman v Superman features an all-star cast that includes Fisher, Cavill, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and, presumably, Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
