Matt vowed to try and work things out with his wife after she came to New York to confront him about sleeping with Miriam, but he may just be up to the same old devious behaviors on Breaking Amish.

Miriam Confronts Matt

In a preview clip for the Oct. 23 episode, titled Out With The Old, Bates will finally get sick of seeing how his friend behaves and will confront him for flirting with other women when he has a pregnant wife back at home.

"It's hard watching your best friend self-destruct, and I just couldn't keep my mouth shut anymore," Bates explains in the clip before confronting Matt.

Matt's Wife Comes To Brooklyn

After he confronts Matt though, the two friends get into a pretty nasty fight, which leads Bates to storm off after reminding Matt of the vows he took with Courtney.

"When you said 'I do,' it doesn't mean 'I do part of the time,'" Bates says. "It means, 'I do.'"

Bates then storms off and explains his anger with his friend and how he can't keep excusing or forgiving him when he repeats the same behaviors.

"I thought he was trying to change. I thought he was trying to be better. I'm out, ya know, I'm done, whatever," he says. "He says he's sorry, and at the moment, he is sorry, but then he turns around and does it all over again. I mean, I can only forgive somebody so many times."

Barbie and Vonda also get involved in the scuffle, and Barbie even wonders if Matt is genuinely like this all the time, or if being in New York and away from the Amish community has just brought out the worst in him.

"I don't know if it's Matt's personality, or maybe New York is as the Amish say," she says. "A sinful city that brings out the worst in people."

The fight between Bates and Matt isn't the only drama slated for the episode however, as a synopsis reveals that now only will Matt's marriage take a shocking turn, but Bates' relationship with his Ex-Amish girlfriend at home, Reena, will also receive a surprise.

In addition, the cast will finally ditch their Amish clothes and adopt English wardrobes after they become sick of not fitting in wherever they go.

Breaking Amish airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on TLC.
