Fans of the hit show know how close they are by following the actors on Instagram. On set, they've done everything from twerk to take "usies" in between shots, and after two successful Netflix seasons, they will probably get even closer.

Laverne says that's because they are super close, "I think the closeness that we have among the cast of Orange Is the New Black really comes out of a lot of love and respect that we have for each other... I am in awe of every single actor on the show."

She added, "Everyone's so talented and I learn so much watching everyone work. I think we're all just really excited to be involved in a project that we believe in so much. Writing that is so unbelievably stellar and changeling and funny and smart...it's a dream come true."

The range in age and acting experience runs the gamut from veteran to rookie, as the casting directors searched all over New York City to perfectly cast each role. On some sets, it may cause division amongst the actors, but Laverne insists that it only makes them closer.

She explained, "From the folks like Danielle Brooks, who just graduated from Julliard and this is like her second acting job, to Kate Mulgrew, who is veteran. From the whole spectrum of actresses, we are just so grateful to be involved in such an amazing project and we understand that this is a once in a lifetime kind of job."
