Speaking with the New York Daily News on Sunday, Woodley talked about how she cried during the screening of her movie, The Fault in Our Stars, when it came out.

"I remember sitting in that screening room when I first saw it and crying," she said.

"Not tearing up because of the story in the movie but because as a human being I was like, 'Wow, this is the last time I'll be playing an adolescent.' It's all I've known, it's all I've been able to relate to ... and now I've just entered a different stage."

She also addressed the large sexual message that takes place in her latest film, White Bird in a Blizzard, and how it is something that American culture views differently than the rest of the world.

"Maybe I'm more European at heart than American, but sexuality in America is considered so taboo and it's so not talked about and yet it's so relevant in our lives," Woodley said. "I don't understand it: Little kids know more about guns than they do about their own bodies."

But even with the massive success, Woodley has enjoyed the fame and hopes to keep treating it as she has so far.

"When you're on hour 14 and you're so exhausted, you still have to take a step back and be like, 'Oh my God, I'm at the f----g Crosby Street Hotel and we're in New York City!" she said. "This is amazing!"

Woodley next appears in Insurgent, which comes out on March 20, 2015.
