Party Down South was so successful that CMT decided to turn the show into a franchise with an entirely new cast of characters this fall-and fans have seemed mixed about the news.

Learn More About The New 'Party Down South' Cast

Since making the official announcement Oct. 23 that a new cast would follow in the footsteps of Mattie, Daddy, Murray, Walt, Tiffany, Lauren and Lyle, fans haven't been entirely supportive of the new cast on social media-expressing that they weren't looking forward to seeing a new cast taking on the same kinds of partying adventures.

"This will not be as good! The original crew please," one fan wrote on the official Party Down South Facebook page.

"YOU CAN NEVER REPLACE THE REAL TRUE PARTY DOWN SOUTH CAST SO IM READY FOR THIS SUCK A-SEASON," another said.

"Way to ruin the show," another added.

However, fans may be reacting too quickly to the announcement-as the new cast may be bearing some big similarities to the original Party Down South crew!

See the new cast's Bios (via CMT) below-and who they remind us of from everyone's favorite partiers.

Hunter Robinson: 23 (Lexington, Kentucky) -- A proud Kentucky Wildcat who can often be found with a fishing rod in one hand and a beer in the other. He never goes to sleep until the keg is empty.

Who he reminds us of: Murray! Murray is the "lovable redneck" of the group with a big personality and a love of the outdoors.

Bradley Mitchell:  26 (Brandon, Mississippi) -- A self-proclaimed ladies' man whose two addictions in life include women and partying, both of which often land him in hot water.

Who he reminds us of: Lyle! Lyle is the down-home boy with the smile that ladies love.

Tommy Theis: 22 (Blytheville, Arkansas) -- This firefighter never misses a day at the gym and spends hours working on his physique so he can impress all the ladies with his ripped abs and toned arms.

Who he reminds us of:  Daddy!  Daddy is a ladies man who loves his funnel and is known for his own physique-which has helped him reel in the ladies.

Michael Duke: 22 (Statesboro, Georgia) -- A good ol' boy who never passes up a party but is always there when you need him, filled with words of country wisdom.

Who he reminds us of: Walt!  Walt is the voice of reason in the house, but he doesn't have a hard time getting the ladies either.

Raven Stein: 23 (Folsom, Louisiana) -- A self-described "tease" known to stir up trouble when she drinks, she's constantly inciting drama and reveling in the attention.

Who she reminds us of: Lauren! Lauren is the hell on wheels member of the cast who wants to party hard but finds herself surrounded by drama thanks to her weakness for country guys.

Magan Ladner: 25 (Wiggins, Mississippi) -- This Southern wild child loves hot-boiled crawfish, hot-blooded boys and cold bottles of beer. Just point her to the party, and she's the first one on the dance floor.

Who she reminds us of: Mattie! Mattie is the life of the party with no problem speaking her mind.

Ashton Mosley: 23 (Pensacola, Florida) -- A preacher's daughter who enjoys fishing and hunting. She has a tendency to get wild when she goes out, hence her nickname "Smashton."

Who she reminds us of: The now former cast member, Lil' Bit!  Though she's now no longer a part of the show, Lil' Bit was known for her love of partying, as well as her love for guns and her Bible.

Karynda Worcester: 26 (Jacksonville, North Carolina) -- A sweet-tea lover whose favorite things include line dancing and beer. She can definitely hang with the guys and isn't your typical Southern belle.

Who she reminds us of: Tiffany!  Tiffany is the farmer's daughter with a pet pig, loud opinions, and barely any fears about speaking her mind and getting dirty.

Party Down South 2 premieres Thursday Nov. 20 at 9 p.m. on CMT. The original cast can be seen in a Thanksgiving special episode one hour before the premiere. They will also be seen in a Christmas special at 8 p.m. on Dec. 18, and will return for season 3 of their show in February 2015.
