Eric's (John McCook) decision to name Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to the CEO position was sure to make things rocky at Forrester Creations, but Maya's (Karla Mosley) additional announcement has made things at the company even more strained on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Chaos Erupts At Forrester Following Maya's Announcement

After Eric explained his decision by referring to Ridge as a man of integrity and honor, and admitted he loved how he worked with Rick's (Jacob Young) wife Caroline (Linsey Godfrey). Intent on stealing Rick away from her, Maya used the announcement to reveal that Ridge and Caroline had done more than design together-exposing their secret affair to everyone.

Now, Caroline will be forced to beg her husband for forgiveness-but could potentially learn that she has now lost her husband for good.

Eric Announces His Choice For New CEO

"Please forgive us," she begs Rick in a preview clip for the Monday, October 27 episode.

While she is left trying to pick up the pieces of her now tattered marriage, Maya could find herself in some hot water for making her shocking announcement-as her motivations aren't being considered as wholly honest.

"Her motivation's to be with Rick, to be a part of your family," Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) reveals to Hope (Kim Matula) and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) in the clip.

In fact, her actions could potentially cost her her job, as Ridge won't take too kindly to the announcement being made-especially since it could cost him his newly-won position.

"You've got to be a little careful Maya," he says in the clip. "Your agenda is showing."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
