As the days inch closer to the release of the next Hunger Games movie, more looks at the heroine of the series appear online and now the latest Empire cover takes a glimpse at Katniss Everdeen in full war attire.

Lorde Visited The 'Hunger Games' Set & Dishes On What She Saw

Empire Magazine revealed their latest cover on Monday that included a new look at Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen from Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. The issue will also include interviews with members of the cast as they talk about what to expect from the first half of the final chapter of the immensely popular post-apocalyptic series, and how the story has been tweaked to accomodate all that plot.

 

With the release of the film coming soon, it seems like a handful of interviews on the franchise and how it affected Lawrence are on the way.

Kanye West To Be Featured On 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' Album

Mockingjay: Part 1 follows Katniss as she leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol. As the war that will determine the fate of Panem escalates, Katniss must decipher for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done, with everything she cares for in the balance.

The film is directed by Francis Lawrence from a script by Danny Strong. The film stars Jennifer, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Jena Malone, Donald Sutherland, Jeffrey Wright, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci and Sam Claflin. It also introduces Julianne Moore as President Coin.

Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will be released in theaters on Nov. 21 followed by Part 2, which opens in 2015.
